Default Can’t get nut off battery terminal

Help!

I’m trying to replace my nuts on the terminals but can’t get one off, when I loosen the whole thing turns, including the terminal

Also tried using a dremel to cut it off but not getting far...

Really want to keep the battery, is there something else I can do?

I have used these to do the job. Some or called nut splitter, or bolt cracker.

Lowe's carry them

If the stud is turning you will likely have to drill and tap the terminal and put in a new stud once you get nut off. There are instructions on how to do this here on BGW and youtube.

its basically a bolt set in the lead the the terminal made , doesnt take much of over tightening to spin it in the form.
