Controller Overcurrent but still runs fine, 2013 RXV
Got one of our carts off our sale line, one of the workers couldn't get it to run. Of course soon as I get on it, runs perfectly fine. I assume user error, but she insists I take a handheld to it either way.
2013 RXV w/ Curtis controller. Codes: Comms Supervision (ignored as it's a 'trash code') Low Battery Voltage (a concern, it sat all winter) Severe undervoltage (ok, let's charge it before we test further) Controller overcurrent (bad!!! But could be old code) Cleared them all and made sure batteries were charged and tested good (2019 US batteries) Now it has an always active code 'Controller Overcurrent' which refuses to stay deleted from history, which should shut the car down entirely, but it runs fine! goes 20 MPH, all the inputs/outputs are correct, voltage identifies correct, nothing standing out as 'overcurrent' to me, and again, runs like new. Why is this code staying active? |
