Default EZGO TXT Troubleshooting Sequence

When following the troubleshooting sequence for a Curtis 1206-03 I have an issue when measuring V using a dvm on pin 3(orange).

1. According to Curtis” with direction selector in forward, key on and pedal depressed must see 0V”.
In my case I am getting pack voltage at the pin with the above conditions are set and also seeing pack voltage when pedal is depressed. Now just the opposite occurs with selector in reverse.

2. According to Curtis” with selector in reverse, key on and pedal depressed must be pack voltage” In my case I am seeing around 6V when pedal is depressed.

The purpose for performing the trouble shooting is when depressing acc pedal in either forward or reverse the cart jumps as if it is getting full throttle. This is an intermittent issue.
Any help with this I’d greatly appreciated.

Default Re: EZGO TXT Troubleshooting Sequence

I can’t help you with the troubleshooting steps for that controller but you might check the 4 pin connector as it is a known trouble spot and can cause intermittent throttle issues. From the blue butt connectors in the picture, it looks like someone has already done something with the throttle wires.
