D&D makes motors for Columbia, but that model number isn't on the D&D website, so I don't know if that is a speed or torque motor, or something in between, but a call to D&D might answer that question.

Ouch, not a pretty sight. I had the same thing happen to me, but my motor did not totally lock up. My controller survived the event.

Finally got to the cart. Here's what I have. You can see in the second picture why I said I have 10" tires.

Those are 10" rims. The actual diameter from the top to the bottom of the tire will determine your final gear ratio. You can also measure the length of one revolution of your tire

205/50-10 = calculates to an 18" (stock) tire height, but actual tire height may be an inch or more taller or shorter.
For example: My tires are marked 18 X 8.50 - 8, but are only 17.03953" tall when measured.

Tire height is rim diameter plus two sidewall heights.
The 205 is mounted tire width in millimeters. (205mm = 8.07")
The 50 means the sidewall height is 50% of the tire width. (4")
The 10 is the rim diameter. (10")

Why are you using a Club Car IQ controller? Maybe it is programmed wrong for a EZ Go. Then again maybe it isn't.

It's a replacement controller I got when my first used Alltrax went bad. I got the same exact one to replace it. I could never get it to link up so I ran it as is. It came off an I modified cart.

That's probably your problem. You need to go to the Alltrax website and order the USB/Serial cable and program it correctly. You ought to at least check your parameters to make sure they are correct. The big online ordering place has one cheaper if your comfortable with that.
