You got lucky. Splicing will work fine.

Re: Excel wire harness the same as IQ?
While You still have the MCOR4 out of the cart, could you please verify the resistance values?
There was a recent post that indicated it is not the same as the MCOR2.

BTW the resistors measured right on 453 OHMs, using a Fluke MM |

By the way, I looked at that close up picture of the MCOR4 connectors, they are AMP SUPERSEAL 1.5 SERIES connectors. |

The connectors seem to be well made, probably better than the older style, to me they look like the Delph but I didn't pay that much attention to them lol.

Re: Excel wire harness the same as IQ?
Last night I was able to make the controller replacement, installed the harness underneath and routed to the front and dash. This afternoon all I have left is the MCOR connectors then I can do the test run and see what happens. The 2008.5 IQ controller I was able to get 19.2 MPH on it vrs the excel 13.3 mph. It was going to cost me $100 to get it reprogrammed so this is why I decided to do the conversion in the first place. Eventually I'll upgrade to the same Curtis 500A controller as I have on my 2008.5 but until them this will give me a little more speed, I found it difficult to get out of traffic being limited to 13 MPH.
