Gears for a RXV
I have a 2012 RXV with 14" rims and was wondering what gears people recommend for a little more speed. I have it programmed and it will go about 23 right now. Anything else people recommend? thanks.

Re: Gears for a RXV
I suggest staying away from gears, as it also harms braking performance. If you are "hell bent" on going faster with gears, try to locate something very close to 12.5:1 or numerically higher. Around here 10.5:1 is too much, hurts hill climbing and braking.

CG - what would you recommend for a little more speed? Also, the cart seems to be governed going down hills, anyway to fix this? thanks,

Re: Gears for a RXV
It cannot be reprogrammed to go faster down hill. You are at current max possible speed without gears.
