Default Power wise charger up-grade

I have a 1995 medalist that I have up-graded to a power wise battery charger. The charger will turn on but will not turn off. I tired the charger on two other txt carts I have one PDS the other non PDS TXT cart, charger turns on charge batteries then turns itself off.

I noticed the charger rectipical for a PDS is a lot more expensive the one for a medialist. The charger plug is the same yet one is way more expensive then the other. Is there something on the cart that tells the charger to turn off?

it may be doing its job....as its programed to do. the charger is programed to charge until a set voltage. in the case of a 36v Powerwise charger, it shouldn't stop charging until the pack voltage is between 44 to 46 volts.

SO, what is your pack voltage reaching before you are manually shutting it off??

if you don't know....you heed to check it with a digital volt meter and let us know what it is.

Yep, the plug is not likely the problem. If the charger works on other carts, i would be looking at your carts batteries voltage on charge.
