Update as to the symptoms of the cart: The last couple of times I have driven it, it has run for a few minutes and when I let off the pedal it looses power. I have to either push it home or go get my truck to tow it, and when I do (after it has rested for a few minutes) it runs again.

nothing feels hot, no smells, or sounds. Also don't get a chance to test anything. Any thoughts?

The cart is currently dead so I've got a chance to take some readings. I started with the continuity test on the fnr as suggested above and it passed. I have full pack voltage on the batteries. I have an altrax controller and tested the ITS just now. With +on white wire on ITS and - on black wire on ITS I had full pack voltage of 38+ volts with the pedal up. With the pedal down the voltage dropped to less than 2 volts (1.6-.

I read elsewhere that test should have resulted in a reading of 10 volts with the pedal up and 6 volts with the pedal down.

Have I found my problem? or is something else causing this reading?

I dont think the ITS test should have shown 36v during the test.

I'm experiencing the same problem. For days...it runs fine. All of a sudden it will beep an then lose all power...even the brakes engage.Let it rest a minute or so...an it runs again...but maybe just a minute before it dies again.I hate to just start throwing parts at it...but what do I do next?Start checking voltages?

I'm thinking of selling this sparkie an finding me a gaser...LOL

anyone close want to make a trade? 2000 PDS

I rechecked the cables. One had some crud on both ends...an was a bit rusty.I made a new cable...installed it.It's been fine for an hour or so.

Could that have been my intermittent problem?

To test the ITS throttle with an Alltrax AXE or SPM control lift the molex 6 pin connector just high enough to get the test leads under it. Carefully touch the test leads to the pins with the blk and white wires and (with the cart on jacks) press the gas just enough to make the solenoid click, reading should be 10v. Now press the gas down it should read 6v at the floor.
