I have 2 coils in excellent shape both are 3.5 inch diam.
One 3 turns and one 5 turns. PM me if they are what you need. |

Also, to answer someone, NO there are not any cart junkyards out here, which surprises me. If I was younger, I would consider starting one. The seniors out here in the desert, have so many old 36 volt carts and still tons of the old western carts, and don't want to change. I think if i install the 2nd speed coil in place of the first speed one, the guy will be still be happy with this old thing. He has driven without the first coil, (completely removed ) for a few weeks, and didn't notice any difference. |

The desert would be a great place for an old cart junk yard. Lots of good condition old carts around you could probably do a pretty good business selling parts and/or installing them.

You are better off with the 2nd speed coil, the resistance would be closer.
Even though the 4 turns is 34% less resistance than the 6 turns coil, since all of the coils are in series, the overall difference will be more like 10% or less when in operation. |

So am I. I got my trailer and 3 carts stashed in snowbirds gargages
I hope they stay gone for awhile. I also have 15 carts in my storage unit. Good thing my wife doesn't go over there. |
