Default Rxv batteries

I have a 2009 ergo Rxv. It's time to replace the 412 V batteries. I know I can get Trojan batteries but was wondering if there is a better choice?

The part just number for the metal bolt in 6 battery tray is 627889 but may have been replaced by a plastic one. I would call EZGo and ask them.

All our new rxv's come with the "6 battery" setup, its still metal. Do yourself a favor, get one and use 6x 8v batteries instead.

Doug
Looks like it would be a bitch to fill the back batteries if you didn't have the fill system you have

Yeah, but filling the back batery is a pain on the 12v setup as well. If you dont have a fill system, a gatorade bottle with some sort of straw will add water to the back cells with minimal fuss.

There's no "perfect solution " to the back battery. IMO the ends justify the means.

Are you guys sure the O.P. is not simply asking about alternative battery brands??? Not converting from 4 12vdc to 6 8vdc like you are all commenting on;) Personally my 2008 rxv batteries died last year. I bought Duracells at Sams Club for about $98 each. I could not be happier! Bought rxv used so batteries were never "new" condition to me....so obviously my Duracells blow the old batteries away easily.

Did you buy 12v batteries for $98?

Sorry, discussion did deviate from OP's comment. .... the important thing to review is the ah of the considered batteries. there are charts regarding the ratings of batteries in a variety of posts on the site. I have no idea about the level of quality of a duracell battery, however the important thing is to make sure you are comparing similar batteries and not installing something that minimally provides the same amount of power your rxv was designed to handle.
