Re: Battery Watering Systems (SPWS)
I have the filler that jjance shows. I have never had a problem with it. It does NOT overfill your batteries if used properly. I don't have to fill my lithium pack though. :-)

Re: Battery Watering Systems (SPWS)
I have one and it ruined a battery. Never saw this coming, but when I filled a battery and then was pulling it off, the end snagged on the inside of the battery and pulled the valve assembly apart. A small spring fell out and dropped into the battery. The next day the water was a rust color and one cell was dead.
Before that I found that it was very hard to use since I couldn't get it in close to all of the holes due to the body of the cart being in the way. Also, it was hard to know when it was done pouring water. I just use the jug now and don't really care if I waste a few drops of water when some misses the hole. This way I can see how full it is vs. with a funnel I can't see in there. Might try the baster in the future, it looks pretty safe. |

Re: Battery Watering Systems (SPWS)
I always just held it above the hole and pushed the cap to open the water valve and control it that way, never had issues and I can do it very precisely.
