2009 Precedent steering issues with lift kit
I have a 2009 that a customer brought in. When you turn all the way to the left the right tire is right at the point of the steering joint where if there is any stress (sand, dirt, mud) in the tire it will pivot all the way to a 90 degree turn??? It is a 2009 precedent with a Jakes lift kit. I can always weld a stop in place but figured if that was the fix Jakes would have put one there?

Re: 2009 Precedent steering issues with lift kit
The steering box and/or front end alignment is out of adjustment. It's steering too far in one direction and not far enough in the other. Improper toe adjustment can cause an oversteer condition as well.
