Re: brake adjustement
Yes, 1.43 qts to be exact. You can create your own with the traction additive and regular gear oil, but I think the Yamalube Friction Modified Gear Oil is the best idea, you know the mixture is correct.

Re: brake adjustement
I've done 3 and all of them took right at 1.5 qts so I assume maybe all of it did not drain. If you raised the rear to drain it, I assume that could cause it all not to drain. See pages 8-9 and 10-2 of the attached manual.

Re: brake adjustement
would the angle of the rear be different with a 6" lift?

Re: brake adjustement
Yes, the front part of the axle frame yoke is in the original position on the body as the lift kit sdoes not lower it, so the axle is angled down quite a bit. I don't have a cart to look at but I do have a good picture of the fill plug. It appears that with the 6" lift, you would drain out the 1.5 qts easily, but only be able to put back in the 1 qt because of the angle. If you raise the rear of the cart so that the axle support frame is level (like stock height), you should be able to put the other 1/2 qt in the transaxle. This makes sense to me, hopefully to you as well.
