Wrong Front Hubs
Got front hubs for a 2010 Precedent. They are longer than original and don't fit.
They are part#102357701, I'm guessing I ordered the wrong ones. What is correct part #, I thought all Precedent hubs were the same. |

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
I don't know about the Precedent, but the DS are metric hubs on the '04 and up. I converted mine to the the SAE style when I installed my lift kit because none were for metric hubs back then.

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
The hub on the left definitely isn't a 102357701. Like CTD mentioned, they're old style DS hubs. No doubt about it.

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
I don't know what I got, but they are pressed sealed bearings and the box has correct part numbers.
I wanted to be sure 102357701 is the correct part #. After what I saw on the box I got confused. I've only known one hub to fit Precedent, but I'm still learnin Precedents and thought there might be something about this I didn't know. |

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
Are they so long that the threaded spindle will not come thru enough to put the nut on them?

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
There looong. The outer bearing is barely on the spindle, most of bearing is overlapping threads. These things aren't even close.
So ,this is the correct part number? They Packed the wrong hubs in box? |

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
Just opened second box to see if was the same as the first. They were packed in separate boxes.
It is not the same, it is the correct one. I guess I should have opened both boxes and I could have answered my question. Yes, they packed the wrong hub in one box. |

Re: Wrong Front Hubs
Hopefully when I get my XCT 400 amp controller, someone mistakenly puts a 500 amp in the box!!!
