Default G22E wont move

Hello everyone, i am hoping to get some help with a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2005 Yamaha G22E that will not move. The solenoid clicks when i turn the key to ON and when pressing the pedal. It only clicks once followed by a 3-5 second hum then clicks again.
The person who was riding said he heard a pop under the passenger seat then a bit of smoke.

After looking around i cant find anything obvious burn wise.

What i have found is that there is a negative missing from the small post on the solenoid. getting 14v when the cart is switched from TOW to RUN.

Then disconnected the plug going to the controller and located the negative pin that goes to the solenoid, hooked an alligator clip to the pin and checked the negative coming directly from the controller. 48v

There is a disconnect for the pos/neg from the solenoid to the TOW-RUN/Controller, respectively. At that disconnect i am only seeing 14v.

Pretty much dont know where to go from here. Has to be something simple im over looking. Would be thankful for any help.

Just an update for anyone who might run into a similar issue.
Turned out to be the controller. Swapped it out with the Alltrax xct48400 and upgraded solenoid.
