I found a full set of wheel covers at https://www.underthesunlkg.com/?gcli...caAsC4EALw_wcB
They are only $5.00 a set. |

Re: In Search Of Wheel Cover Retention Clips
You would think that the hubcap maker would have access to these clips...Who makes the hubcap? Who distributes the hubcap? These are good starting points, the biggest problem is finding a dealer who will take time to follow up and be as interested as you are in getting these retaining clips

Re: In Search Of Wheel Cover Retention Clips
Here are the steps to make your own hub cap clips, in order.
The first cut is the deepest - er, I mean - the most difficult. Try to cut the clip lengthwise exactly in the center. Then cut off the wire retainer curly things. Then cut in half the other way. Then you might need to trim back the long side a little, as shown on two of 'em. The short end gets stuffed into the hub cap slot; the long end overlaps the outer edge. I think. Might want to epoxy or silicon seal them into place to keep 'em from popping out. They hold really tight once in place, though! I hope the pics attached. Cumbersome process. |
