2010 48v CC precedent 1 light blinking fast on fully charged side of charge indicat
Cart won't do anything. 2 yr old batteries. I Changed 1 end on one of my cables and the crimp tool I used I had to use a hammer to hit crimp tool. I put 2x4 on floor board of cart and did it. After putting putting cable back on the cart won't move, click or anything. The only thi g I see is one light on my charge indicator on the full charge side is blinking fast? I'm afraid I may have knocked something loose when hammering but not sure. Checked all connections and fuses all seem ok. Any ideas? Could I have damaged my controller? Help

Did You move the Tow/Run switch back to Run?
If so: Which cable did you fix? Does the charger work? |

Yes made sure to flip switch to run. I
put a new cable end on the main red wire coming from the controller (I guess) going to positive terminal on battery on my passenger side. And no my charger will not come on when plugged into cart. Also just noticed my light at lights will not come on when switch is on "run" but half of them will light up when the switch is on "tow". |

Make sure the red positive wire from the charger receptacle is connected back to the positive battery post, the charger will not come ON without it.
The condition You described with the lights is likely related to an improperly installed 16v-12v voltage reducer. Check for any other loose wires. You already checked the main fuse under the controller harness? |

Ok will check fuse under controller harness, don't think I checked it yet. Also when I remove or install cables to batteries I used to see l little arching, hear a little buzz. I haven't noticed that since I changed the end on that cable. My lights never gave me trouble before me changing the cable end either.

Sergio- update.
After going over every single connection and having a friend check voltage of batteries I found the problem. First my batteries were showing 25 volts (that's why my charger wouldn't come on) then I found the red wire coming from my the back of my charging plug to the battery was a little loose inside the connector at the battery. Changed the connector for that wire, crimping it extra tight and hooked it back up. Got my buddies 48 volt cart and hooked jumper cables from his battery pack to mine. We Plugged the charger in and it kicked on. After charging last night cart is back in business with no problem. Thanks! |
