Yellow/White Starter switch wire?

This is the white wire with yellow stripe that comes out of the harness to the starter switch on an electric EZGO TXT. Anyone know what it's connected to or purpose?

If you are talking keyswitch the white/yellow wires are for the headlights

Thanks. I thought the blue wires were for the headlights? Or are those just for the headlight switch?

Okay wait. Hold back on the answer I gave. What cart do you have ? Year ? Model ? Those colors change based on that.

on the key switch you have two wires that actually active the controller when you TURN ON your cart. you have a WHITE wire and a WHITE/YELLOW wire. The White wire goes to pin 9 and the White/Yellow goes to pin 8 of the 10 pin connector on the controller.

So, on my 4 terminal key switch, I've got both the white wire and the positive battery meter wire going to the 'I' terminal on the key switch. The negative battery meter wire goes to the negative side of the battery pack. Both the yellow/white striped wire and a battery pack + power wire going to the 'B' terminal on the key switch.

I'll have my 12v converter going to the B1 terminal on the key switch, with both radio and lights running through the fuse box connected to the 12 volt converter.

Does this sound about right?

YEP.....as the I and the B are what completes the circuit when you turn your cart's KEY on and powers up your controller.

I assume you are talking about the "trigger wire" for the converter on B1.....right? the yellow wire from the converter?
