reverse issue
Ok, guys, i have a weird one.
What i have done. Alltrax XCT 500 amp PQ Executioner HD Solenoid 2 ga wires New Trojan Batteries My Issue: Sometimes when I take my foot off the accelerator pedal the reverse buzzer goes off. then the cart jerks and doesn't take off right away. Then sometimes when I back up and then go to reverse it won't switch. It's like the cart is stuck in reverse. I have checked the connections at the controller and the F&R switch and they appear to be ok. |

Re: reverse issue
What year cart? Series or Sepex?? If its sepex and has a rocker switch, I had one with sticking contacts from time to time and had to replace it. (Cleaning it did not work)

Re: reverse issue
It's a 14 precedent.
I believe it's a sepex. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk |

Re: reverse issue
Definitely check into your rocker switch. It can be causing you that intermittent problem.

Re: reverse issue
If it is not that, and lack of a grounding wire somewhere, the next place would be in the controller since you have a sepex and all the high amp switching occurs in the controller.....

Re: reverse issue
Sounds more like a speed sensor problem. The switch in the mcor can be open or closed while under way. As soon as the controller senses the cart has stopped AND the mcor switch is not engaged by the pedal, the runaway alarm goes off. If the controller does not know the cart is moving and the pedal returns to zero, this will happen.

Re: reverse issue
I bypassed the switch and the problem went away.
I have since booked the switch back up and it appears to be ok ... For now Should I just replace the mcor? Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk |
