Trojan recommends 6.7v for float charge, so Your charger is right on spec.

Its a stealth patriot cart. It had 8 6volt full river agm batteries originally. They claim that it had a 45 mile range. I do find that hard to believe.

Did you change the setting on your charger when you went from the original Fullrivers to the Trojans?

45 mile range was obtainable with the Fullrivers, 1 person and not super extreme terrain.
