What kind of throttle is this and how do I test it?

That is Ezgo Inductive Throttle System aka ITS.
Go here to see throttle tests, what controller is it connected to?

The micro switch does click, I've also done an ohms test with no signal when the switch is depressed and a signal when open. I think it's working, I think!!

I can't help on the navitas - the signal is volts not ohms. The controller sends (and sets) the operating voltage and the returning voltage is reduced when the plunger enters the tunnel.
For Alltrax this voltage is 10v pedal up and 6v pedal down.

Ok, thanks for your help!

I did a continuity test on the micro switch, that's why I said ohms. I'm hoping that was telling me it was working. I still need to test the "POT" thingy though, will do that by following the example in your link.
