What is the best upgrade for my lifted ezgo with 23" tires
I installed a 6" lift kit with 23" tires on my 2007 ezgo and was wanting to know what is the best upgrade that I will need to do to get more speed out of it. It has 6 8v batteries but it has a 36v motor Advance motors part no AO2-4012 and a Curtis PMC 250 amp controller. Thanks in advance.

New Alltrax controller is by far the best torque performance boost you will get. Get a 400a or larger. Upgrade will require a new solenoid, and all 6ga cables be replaced with 4ga or 2ga. A new controller will likely only add just a little speed to your "series type motor system", but that stock controller won't support a bigger, better motor (which can offer more power and speed).

Everything that cgtech mentioned and when you have a chance....upgrade the motor. I have a 2007 Series Drive cart as well....you can see my upgraded drive system in my sig. I went with a 500a controller, and the 2 ga cables.....its running on 23" tires and seeing as how where I live its FLAT I put in speed motor. and with it running on 48v.....it has a top end of 30 mph.
