Default accessories

Have 36 volt ezgo txt want to add accessories have a voltage reducer and want to use a fuss block do all the accessories have to be grounded to the battery pack ?

No, get a bus bar (not sure of correct term) ground that , then ground all of your accessories to that. You can see mine below the fuse block.

No, nothing to the frame. Ground it to the pack. The buss bar is just a distribution device so that you’re not running a bunch of separate grounds to the pack.

There are quite a few threads on wiring reducers and accessories, some with good diagrams. Use the search bar and I’ll bet you’ll find it. I’ll try and see if I can get one of the ones I used.

Again, ground nothing ever to the frame. One of the guys here that actually knows what they’re talking about explained why once, but I don’t really remember the reason. I only know that it’s an absolute no no.

Thanks again first electric cart for me have used a gas cart before . And the bus bar sounds like what I was thinking about .
