2009 ezgo mpt 1000 48 v.
runs but at half speed,getting a 5-4 code. replaced the walkaway relay nothing changed , Help,also has a rebuilt Curtis 1268-5411 controller

I’m getting the same thing with mine. I got a hand held from amazon, will be here Tuesday, hopefully I can fix the problem too.

I got mine to work! Plugged in my hand held, I changed the tacho poles from 8 to 20 and it’s back in action.

Well that was wrong, put the tacho poles back to 8 and turned down the “rpm to speed” to a way lower level. Now everything is running back to normal. My rpm to speed was set at 255 and was in limp mode.
