Default EZ go TXT

I just paid 500 for an ezgo txt 36 volt with a new powerdrive charger. the guy said it was a POS and to get it out of his driveway.

I would like to know what year it is the tag under the seat
model TXTEFSE
date code M1803
label number 75983G20
serial number 2128334

The batteries were very low the guy said the charger was new and did not work I made a jumper to bypass the reed switch and charged the batteries 2 at a time with my car charger Then the charger took off and run like new as it should.
This cart just came back from service with all new spring bushings and all new bolts, also it has lights, turn and brake lights. locking glove box.
I have been looking for a cart to have for a project, just not sure if this is the one The batteries are supposed to be 2.5 years old after charging and testing I think they are at 80%

The cart is a 2003. You did real good on that deal. Batteries might come back, might not. Where is your F/R control?

GO here to determine which drive system you have > https://www.cartsunlimited.net/upgrade-suggestions.html

Batteries are toast but you still got a great deal.

I was always playing around with the club car carts, But now I have this ezgo . I was going to sell it but this cart runs like new. the battery box is in great shape with only a little paint missing and the frame looks like new with only a few water spots on the black paint.
I would prefer a 48 volt cart, but I think I will keep it like it is until the batteries are gone. Then it has a new charger

When the wife gets home I'll see what direction to go. (she pays the bills)

It is a series cart as per the info from Scotty
