Help me troubleshoot my accelerator issue
Hey guys it has been a while since I've been on. My carts have been running great until recently I have an issue with my 2009 PDS with Alltrax 400. When you press the accelerator you better hold on because it starts bucking and jerking really bad. This only happens when you are trying to slowly start. When you take off half or more throttle it runs fine. I haven't done anything yet just wanted to know if you guys can point me in the right direction. Cart runs fine other than this. Thanks.
Edit - The first thing I'm going to check is if there's water in the accelerator box under the floor. Just a guess |

Re: Help me troubleshoot my accelerator issue
Check the ITS voltage at the controller.
Voltage between White wire (C4 Pin-3) and Black wire (C4 Pin-4) should be 10V when is pushed just far enough to make solenoid click and decrease to 6V as pedal is pushed to floor. |

Re: Help me troubleshoot my accelerator issue
Finally got around to checking it out. I went ahead and checked and cleaned all my battery connections first as that it hadn’t been done in a while. Low and behold, found a cable that was corroded really bad under the heat shrink. Replaced that cable and it’s running great now. Word of advice. Stay on top of your battery maintenance.
Johnnieb - thanks for your help as always I’m guessing you assumed I had already checked the basics like battery cables. Haha |

Re: Help me troubleshoot my accelerator issue
I typically check the members post count and usually presume someone with over 300 posts has both oars in the water, but I may have to rethink that.
