Re: Solenoid not engaging.
Since You have +48v on Pin #5 (lockout) and Pin #16 (Reverse) that is all the Controller needs to make the Reverse buzzer sound.
If You put negative to the reverse buzzer orange/white wire (Pin #7) and the reverse sounds the Controller is bad.. In order for the Controller to send the signal to the Solenoid it also needs a minimum throttle signal. Measure the voltage on Controller Pin #2 (yellow) to make sure the voltage goes from 0.3v to 4.7v+ (approximately). |

Re: Solenoid not engaging.
So reverse buzzer is either bad or you lost positive power to the buzzer's red wire.
That throttle signal is pretty low, does the Controller have 5v on pin #1 white wire (throttle high)? |

Re: Solenoid not engaging.
You have a DS IQ like the diagram below right?
Pin #1 is the power to the MCOR so no way to get 2.2v on Pin #2 (wiper) if that is not working. Was the 16-pin plug connected to the Controller, Key Switch ON and in gear when you measured (rear wheel off the ground)? Also, pin #9 has power now correct? |

Pin#9 shows 50.0 |

Re: Solenoid not engaging.
With a clear head this morning double checked all the in puts for the activation circuit to engage the solenoid.
On this cart the solenoid not engaging and no reverce buzzer. Working on this for a friend. #5 pin Lt. Blue 0. Pulled 6 pin connector to OBC and jumped Blue an White wire. Pack voltage on #5 pin now. OBC is bad right. Right?? #6 pin Green to MCRO 50.0 with pedal down. #8 pin Brown F/R switch in forward 50.0 #16 Blue F/R switch in reverse 50.0 #18 Key switch 50.0 # 9 Gray wire Tow /Run switch. Wire pulled lose from connector replaced with a good wire and connector from old harness. 50.0 On post #21 Sergio said to put negative to orange/white wire ( Pin #7) and the reverse sounds the Controller is bad. It did sound. I did this test yesterday but I did not put the F/R switch in reverse. Looks like it will need a Controller and a OBC ( or a smart charger) The owner did say that when he was checking the battery cables one just fell off. He put a new cable on and said it did run after that (not to sure about that). Could this have caused all this. |

Owner replaced the bad cable with a automotive type cable. I replaced it with the right type. The bad cable was from #4 to #5 battery. |
