Can a Curtis 1313-4401 speed up a 2015 TXT 48volt

When the dealer used the passkey to increase your speed, it decreased your top end torque by 12%. The 23" tires reduced it further. Your controller will not deliver the 500 Amps of current the motor requires to turn 23" tires to full speed. Nothing you can do with that handset to fix that. You wasted your money buying that handset, because now you are going to need to buy and install a 400 Amp Alltrax controller, or a 500 Amp Alltrax controller turned down to 400 Amps so that your motor will survive.

I have the speed pass and the programming set on “4.” The 4 setting got it to 14-14.5 and the speed pass got it to 19.5. The stock speed was 12. This is all with stock tires. I installed 23’s and now get 22-24 on flat ground. question about the Alltrax controller. If I install one of those will it be “unlocked” already. How much speed/torque will it make over my setup.

A pc running windows with a standard USB type A to B cable (printer cable), OR the bluetooth module & the alltrax app on your smartphone or tablet (android/apple).

All 3 programs are available free, and are pretty easy to use.
