Default Windshield down or off for transport?

Dumb question. Do you remove your windshield or just put it down for transport?

Which brand?

Eagle (OEM Ezgo American made) I've hauled backwards on anything 2018 or newer.

Any junk chinese brand, IE RHOX, Buggies, etc the sashs always give out FWD or backed on, so its easier to remove it. I've had them shatter on the trailer.

I haul them on our flatbed all the time...I have always parked them forward and folded the windshield down. Have had many drivers lose them in the past along with enclosures and roofs due to leaving them up.

We were told the same, cart forward, windshield folded down or be ready to buy a new windshield.

Thumbs up Re: Windshield down or off for transport?

It only takes a few minutes to take it off and never have to worry about it.

I took my cart to the mopar show in Vegas once, out on the freeway, the little V6 Dakota didnt like anything over 70 mph. The windshield was a giant sail. (Was a one-piece & didnt fold). Took it off in a rest area & it made a huge difference. If for the gas mileage savings alone, take it off.

That's another good reason to just take it off.
