Ezgo TXT Suspension Swap
I have an 1996 Ezgo Txt series cart with a front long travel suspension and a 2003 ezgo txt pds cart with stock suspension. Both carts have stock electronics (upgrades will follow). Ultimately i want my setup to have the long travel suspension with the pds controller/electronics.
Can i simply switch the suspension over from one cart to the other or will i need to switch the electronics instead? Thanks for any help. |

The only difference in the front of these carts is the steering, so that is what you have to look at with your particular lift kit.

One difference in the front of these carts is the steering, so that is what you have to look at with your particular lift kit. What lift kit are you asking about?

I don't know the make of the kit and i don't think i am able to post pictures yet. I bought the cart with the lift on it. Im not sure if its viewable but I did make an album in my profile with pictures of it?

They have steering differences. If you park the carts side by side you will see the challenge. I'm not sure it can't be done but it may not be easy. The steering box moved from body or frame mount to axle mount around the 03 timeline

At best you can pull the wire harness, motor and controller setup out of the PDS cart and move it to the 1996 w/ LT cart if you want to keep the LT kit. Sell the 2003 naked as those frames are quite desirable. |
