ITS Sensor replacement cost ??

There's been a few post lately that have addressed the possibility of a bad ITS Sensor in the cart.

So, just for giggles I did a search of the cost of an ITS sensor.....and the cost are all over the map!! I see them from $28 to $284, and everything in-between!!

So....what's the scoop? I gotta believe the $28 are a "too good to be true" kind of thing that is a cheap import and likely not work very well.

Any input from you engineering type people on this?

The ITS sensor was patented on 21-Sep-1993 (Copy attached), so the patent expired about a decade ago and the device can be duplicated without paying royalties.

From what I've heard, the lower priced ones work as well as the higher priced ones.
