2010 TXT 48 losing power
I have a 2010 TXT48 with one year old Trojan batteries that intermittently loses all power and slows to a stop. I have to flip the run/tow switch to get it back. Also, when disconnecting the charger I have to flip the run/tow switch to get it to work. Batteries measure 51.0 volts 12 hours after a charge. Thoughts on where to start?

When it stops does the reverse buzzer work?

Not until you cycle the run/tow switch.

Re: 2010 TXT 48 losing power
There is a sonic weld of a bunch of wires that power the different control circuits of the cart right next to the run tow switch that I have seen quite a few carts fail. If you open up that loom look for some bad connections. Or just cut it out and redo it.

I'll remove the cover and check it out. Thanks!

I couldn't find the sonic weld you were talking about unless it is buried in the wiring harness blow the controller.

Re: 2010 TXT 48 losing power
speed sensor failed late yesterday, so I'll get that replaced but don't think that would cause the other issues.

Update: Replaced the charge receptacle and everything works as it should.
