Re: 16 club car “growling”
Is the driver's side brake binding? This can happen when you install a lift kit on a Precedent. If yes easiest fix is to install a longer brake cable.

Re: 16 club car “growling”
That really sounds like a tire rubbing. I'd have the family (or similar weight) on the back and look for close tolerances. Perhaps with the weight transfer of acceleration, it causes the rub vs. static. A well placed GoPro or cell phone video on the undercarriage would give you some good information.

Re: 16 club car “growling”
Sorry guys came down with a sinus infection Monday night. I Munster up enough energy to get out in the garage this morning, as any guy would be my brain was knocking as to how to resolve this issue. So I had a day down and time to read of the comments left and I appreciate everyone’s input. I started by tightening the u bolts just a little more then noticed how tight my cables were to the drums. I then gave both drums a tap with a rubber mallet and this was enough to resolve the growling or rubbing I was hearing. My girls took it for a spin no further noise in the rear of my 2016 club car precedent thanks for all your help
