Who has welded up their rear Differential on a club car ds
Like the title says whos welded up a rear differential on a club car ds to make it posi traction. I got my 94 ds rear end out and am wanting to go posi traction. This is a hunting cart with no pavement use. I would like to see some pics of the inside of one before I crack mine open. Any how to info would be great if you have done it before. 20210211_174153.jpg

Ok so I cracked this thing open today and am lost on the welding it up part. I dont see how you can do this with the way the gears turn in the differential. See pics. So does anyone sell a actual locker for this axle?

There is a company that makes limited slip 2-speed axles for the DS and others. Check out renegadedistributing.com. They also have a 4WD option. You could also try to find and fit an RXV axle, they’re limited slip from the OEM. Not posi, but pretty good.

I really want to try and make this one posi traction instead of buying another axle. For one a new axle is expensive and two I just bought a new $750 plum quick torque grizzly motor for this axle.

Yup, I hear you. Finding a way to weld it would certainly be the most cost effective solution.
