Installing RHOX radio dash in 2013 Precedent.
I have a 2013 Precedent and want to install the RHOX dash with radio and speaker cutouts.
The description states that it fits 04-08.5 without modifications but newer than 08.5 will require modifications. Has anyone fitted one if these dash’s to a newer Precedent and what modifications are required? Cheers Pat. |

The newer Precedents have a slightly different dash tray. On the older ones, the hump over the steering column is much shorter, and it's removable. I much prefer this style. Newer are just one big tray with a larger hump. I speculate you'll simply need to take out a deathwheel or a Dremel and trim the hump off the newer dash tray, but I am guessing. I wouldn't be scared of it.

Well, I purchased and installed the dash. The modification required is to the top trim piece that has to be cut back about 10-12mm (around 1/2 inch) on its bottom edge. No big deal and a Dremel tool comes in very handy here.
