Default The Silent night time killing machine is almost done.

Well the hog and coyote killer is almost done. Its been fun and the outside is complete. Well other than a couple gun racks i still have to mount. I have to mount my Alltrax 48500 controller, 400amp HD solenoid and SW202 and finish my 14s leaf pack. The zeva bms16 and monitor will be here this week so i can finish my battery pack up. The leaf pack is sooo much lighter that the old lead acid batteries. And i have storage now under my seat. So heres a pic from when I got it to now.

Nicely done. It looks like we use our carts for the same things.

Looking good! I'll be interested to see how you place and finish up the rest of the electronics.

So I will have the head lights and tail lights more or less for others to see me not really for me to see anything ( i run night vision and thermal to drive). I might put a couple IR lights on the front or small light bar. I thought about putting a small 12v battery on the cart for those things or should i run a 48v to 12v reducer and not mess with a separate 12v battery. It would be nice to have that extra space to use as storage under the seat.

I am pretty sure most will recommend the reducer. Easy enough to do and not very expensive.

Im seeing these 48v to 12v converters from $20 to $160 is there that much difference between them to justify $100+ difference?
