I would say about $2K to $2.5K. Some pricey items like the new batteries and motor plus the AllTrax, etc. Old cart but a good one. So worth it. Like the fact that the Western has a front trunk and a built in ice box behind the seats. Sentimental connection with it too. So it wasn’t going to get swapped out for something else! (Actually might be closer to $3K with a bunch of other things I did too).

Nice. I’d been looking for a cart for awhile. The non golf market for carts has made it tough to find a cart set up for actually golfing and the prices are kinda wild. I gave $1000 bucks for mine. Took a chance on it and think I made a good choice given the overall condition of this thing

If you decide to pep it up a bit, figure out what you want it to be first, then build towards that goal. For instance, if a 48V battery pack ( six 8V batteries) might be in the future, buy stuff that will work with 36V now and 48V later. IE: Battery cables, 8V batteries have both terminals on same side, so longer cables are needed to connect them together. Cables for a 6x8V pack will work on a 6x6V pack, but not the other way around. And remember overkill is underrated. |
