Default 2017 RXV - What is this cable?

Anyone have any idea what this cable is for? It has a 4 pin connector and is disconnected with one end capped. I can only assume they go together since the connectors match (one male and one female) but I have no idea what the cable is or why it is disconnected from itself or why it CAN be disconnected from itself.

This is a 2017 Fleet RXV that was rebuilt by a local cart dealer with new body, seats, light kit, freedom mode enabled, etc.

It's a diagnostic port used for programming and troubleshooting with a Curtis programming station or a handheld. The port is the one on the right. You can remove the cable to the left and save it.

That's what I was thinking but wanted to have someone verify. Thanks for the reply.

I haven't traced it yet but it doesn't just come out. Attached (or zip tied) to something.

Mines like a curly cord on a telephone... stays tangled up. I wish it were straight.
