Lestronic II Charger
Is there an alternative to buying this expensive timer kit? My charger stopped working and when I bypassed the relay it would charge. I bought a new relay and installed it but it still will not kick on. So it must be the timer board that is bad. The price for the board is $250. This is the board that is in my charger.

Re: Lestronic II Charger
Most of the time if a Lestronic stops working it's the timer board. You can bypass it and just set your own timer, or use an electrical outlet timer, but you need to know how long to charge the pack for.
It wont be perfect, but it will work "good 'nuff". If you want it to work as it was designed, it will need the new timer board. Or you can buy a newer charger. The downside to most newer chargers is they don't have anything in them that you can replace when it fails. |
