Best way to cut rear leaf spring bolts off 96 CC DS electric. Sawzall or multitool or

I just did mine. Used a Sawzall and cut inside the bracket. I then used a breaker bar to get the leftover bolt heads and nuts turning as they might be corroded to the aluminum bracket. You can then drive them out with a punch.

Well I got one side. Battery died so waiting to charge to complete other side. Sawzall did the trick. Har more room on the front ones than I thought

That’s not a sawzall. That’s special service tool known as a CCRT. a catalytic converter removal tool. They use them here all the time in parking lots.

I did buy it off a meth head behind a dumpster for $6. Said it was his Grandfather's and just fell on hard times.
