2021 ezgo express lg elite speed upgrade

I am looking for someone to help increase the speed of our 2021 EZGO Express L6 Elite Lithium battery cart. The dealer we purchased it from says the technology is not there yet. I hear Bob Boyce or USGIcollector can help? We are in the Clearwater/Tampa area.

Yea thats low. I believe the factory programed top speed should be 19.5 mph

Something sounds off with your dealer (i.e. the technology is not there yet). It clearly is. I test drove a brand new L6 Express this past October and I was getting 19-20 mph. You sure the dealer did not adjust it down?

Your best bet it to get on Bob's list for upcoming trips. Once you have enough posts to PM send your information over to usgicollector.

Beachbuggie621. Have you had any luck getting the top speed of your cart increased. I have a 72V S4 and it is limited ~19-20mph, but I had a local guy try and he said there was something on the 2021 that he couldn't bypass. I'm hoping Bob can help me out as well.

Yup- can confirm that was me. Doing my fair share of research and can’t find a thing. Did get another 72v and it was the same way. 1234SE controller. No clue what they put on there but would love to know if I can bypass it with a handheld. I got a similar one with the 1206 sped up to 28.

Hunter- I believe it is the fact that yours has a different drive system. Not the year model.

You need to ask them for freedom mode or bring it to another dealer who will unlock the cart for you. Under factory settings, those carts will run 25 mph. If you tweak it more, you can run anything you want. Ask them about freedom mode.

I'm running into the same problem. My cart won't go faster than 14, it's insane. I bought a hand-held with OEM level and still didn't help. Something is blocking the speed from going over 16 in the programmer.

Where's Bob, i'm seriously desperate.
