99 ezgo forward only no reverse
So I’m looking at buying a 99 48v ezgo the guy said it only had reverse so he switched to polarity and now it only has forward does it sound like most likely a micro switch or something worse?

If the cart has a RUn/tow switch the speed controller or the F&R toggle switch is bad.
If it is series drive with a lever F&R no run tow toggle then IDK. The same micro switch activates forward and reverse... so probably a bad F&R switch |

Looks like it has the tow run switch. I haven’t looked at it in person yet trying to figure out if it’s worth it

So yeah it’s a 36 v not 48

The cart is a DCS. Definitely worth buying imo. Once outfitted with an Alltrax control this cart makes more speed than SERIES and more power than PDS.
With new motor/controller there is little this cart cannot do. |

It's hard to tell from the picture but I think I see four caps on each battery. That would make it 48V.
