Default 1998 ezgo txt 36 volt ignition short won’t run now

So I have a 1998 txt 36v that ran perfect! I pulled out the ignition switch panel and accidently touched my screwdriver across two of the wires heard a small spark and now I have nothing when I hit the pedal at All. I’m assuming I blew a fuse but I can’t find anything. Anybody have an answer to this? Thanks I’m advance

May have just blew your controller. Just a word of advice, whenever messing with anything electrical, disconnect the battery.

We get this issue way too often! Folks - do what Capt. Lenny said and ALWAYS disconnect your main battery before working on your cart!

That’s my fear. Buddy took a multimeter to the back of the ignition switch and it sparked. Hoping it’s something along the line and not the controller.

Got lucky! Bypassed the reed switch and it is up and running.
