Default '99 EZGO - Electric, no tow switch and it stopped running.

I have a '99 EZGO - Electric, no tow switch and it stopped running.
- Validated Pack is good (+/- 38 volts)
- Bypassed ReedSwitch
- Back up horn is on for both f/r
- I hear the solenoid activate when I push on the accelerator

When I push on the accelerator, the rear wheel has a slight movement. Recycle the key and then I get another slight movement.

The f/r switch appears to be original and was thinking of replacing it.

How old are batteries? What are the voltage of each battery 8-12 hours after full overnight charge. Then attach meter to each battery with zip tie and see what each drops to when you drive it. That will test your batteries under load. Also, check if anything getting hot after driving a while. That will pinpoint bad connection/ cables.

The cart will not run to perform a test under load. I have a handheld load meter...and checked each battery and they read "OK" not weak.

How old are batteries? Do you have a voltmeter that you can measure volts? Can you measure what voltage drops to when you press the accelerator? e.g. 33.25 volts (and measure each battery).

The Batteries at trojan, H7...(July 2017) Thank you, I will check each battery.

I am a few hours from the cart...so a reply will take a few days.

I appreciate the group's support!

Put voltmeter on pack and see what it drops to when you press pedal. Do a full overnight charge, then wait 8-10 hours to see what each battery voltage is.

The pack reads, 39.4 with and without the pedal being pressed.

Checked each battery
1 - 6.58
2 - 6.6
3 - 6.6
4 - 6.59 (previous was a typo)
5 - 6.53
6 - 6.53

Hearing the click of the solenoid...with the reed switched bypassed.

is there a way to check the motor...without a jump?

Your number 4 battery is toast. It may be dragging the rest of them down. You need to measure each one under load.

I had a typo, and the post has been updated. I do not see any change under load.

There has to be a reduction of voltage under load.
