Default Reversing Contactors

Just a question for any of the electric guru's in the room. What is the overall difference between a DC182/SW202 vs say a Heavy Duty 12 Winch Reversing Contactor rated at 500A other than the coil voltage? Is it just the operating voltage of the coil that is rated at 12/36/48v or is it the contactor also. Trying to justify the cost of a $200 component vs either staying manual or another unorthodox approach.

Default Re: Reversing Contactors

Coil voltage is the only thing that is voltage specific. The difference between the DC182 and the SW 202 is amperage. The 202 is larger.
