0-5k or 5k-0 Throttle?
I have a 1990 CarryAll that I’m going to rebuild. It’s currently a 36 volt resistor cart that I’m planning to convert to 48 volts. I plan to use the existing motor with a Curtis 1204-408 controller (black) that I have laying around.
I’m trying to determine if it needs a 0-5k or a 5k-0 throttle input. The Curtis 1204 Manual says, “The standard controller throttle input is 0–5kΩ”. But I found a Curtis 1204 datasheet that says, “Standard Throttle Input: 0-5k ohms ±10% (others available)”. It’s the “others available” that’s making me wonder. I think it's from a 95 DS, which leads me to believe 0–5kΩ. Controller.jpg |
