93 Marathon motor
Hey All,
I have a 48V (converted from 36v) 1993 Marathon and am looking for a recommendation for a motor. I will be in an area with moderate hills. I believe the original moter is in there now so I'm hoping a new motor will also improve runtime. Speed limit in my community is 15 mph so I don't need to be fast. just want to get uo and down hills with as little stress as possible. |

Re: 93 Marathon motor
If you're in for a mild upgrade talk to Plum Quick about their Bandit upgrade for $275. Supposed to get a 25% increase in torque and is a good bang for your buck. If you want a big increase in torque then ask them about their custom motors. D&D, FSIP and Admiral are other sources. You never said what your budget is but you have a lot of options. Possible even a new controller? Cartsunlimited.net has motor/controller packages available as well as great advice.
