The A=arms are mounted over the cart frame so if you put spacers between the lower plate and frame it will pull the top of the tires in.

This is a pic of my front 6 inch spindle lift. The back is the easy part to make. The front is the more dificult. Thats why I just ended up buying mine and it was pretty cheap to buy. If it helps.

I just installed one of those on a DS cart and didn't care for it. After installing it the bottom has to be adjusted to pull the tires straight up and it pre-loads or binds the whole front suspension which stiffened it up.
I don't think bushings will be lasting long on it.

Time willl tell. You may be correct. This is my first lift so I have nothing to compare it to. but I like it. It did take some adjusting on the front to get the wheels adjusted just right, but once I got it its been great. It feels just like the cart did before I lifted it. Its just a lot taller. And its a cheap price.

i've been looking for a fourwheeler front end for my cart. have thought about that? there are several threads with lots of pics showing this. looks like a pretty good idea. might be a lot less expensive than getting one from jakes made for your cart. especially if you could find a good deal on a wrecked or blown up quad. get the whole front clip including break set up.

nitro1... Here's a link to a tread Bad92Silverado started ...He did an awesome mod on his cart... his build help me out a lot with my homemade lift.

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...highlight=QUAD

For my lift I didn't have a complete donor quad.. but if you can find one there are some great deals out there ... I pieced mine together from eBay and craigslist...it's mostly a Yamaha yfz450.... parts for these quads are a little pricey compared to some... kevinandrew I have about 550.00 in my lift including wheel spacers....so not much less than some of the better kits...
but they don't come with wheel spacers and disc brakes that would be additional.

I have to say I couldn't be more pleased with the results of this mod....definitely worth the time and money.now my cart rides like a Cadillac, handles great, stops on a dime and will take most any terrain.
