Sweet Sound System Suggestion
Whats up fellas. Came across a sweet little addition to the 1980 G1A1, figured I'd share. Really wanted to rock out to some tunes while cruisin at the lake and found the perfect solution for under $30. Little dude is called a TMS motorcycle sound system. **link attached** It is pretty awesome. Comes with two little chrome speakers that actually blare pretty loud-like, has a clock, radio, and auxillary feature (can play music off phone, ipod, etc.). I installed the main block portion right under the middle of the seats and extended the speaker wires and ran em up under the front of the roof. This thing is pretty legit and gets a lot of smiles when blaring some White Snake/Rolling Stones in a vintage golf cart.

I looked at them. Looks like there is a wire that is suppose to go to the ignition switch on a motorcycle so where does that wire go to?? I don't want to buy one and do a half a$$ wiring job on my cart lol.

Re: Sweet Sound System Suggestion
The way I remember, it was just 2 wires,(hot and ground) but it has a useless clock in it, and can run down the battery if left unattended, (which mine never is) so...
Also mine has a powered woofer with it now, and you have to memember to turn that off as well! Pictures of mine are in the G8 Club. If there is interest in my installation, I can make one up with pictures. But I'm not really proud about the way mine turned out. But its out of the weather,on just about all conditions, and that was my concern. |

Re: Sweet Sound System Suggestion
The idea of a switch can be useless really. No switch needed. I just attached it to the positive wire i believe. The device needs a circuit of power in the positive aspect, and the wire for the switch is needed for that. Its an easy wire rig. No shadyness. I did go ahead and rig up a switch however so i could turn the unit off via switch. The clock stays on when powered off and can use some power. But my ride runs off a 700 ca car battery, so no problem. No drain of battery even when clock is on.
