Default Rotating batteries in the pack

Some time this week ill be pulling my pack to do some chassis work/clean up. While they're out ill maintain them by rotation on my 12v battery tender.

My question is regarding that rotation and ultimately when I put them back in....is there an advantage and or disadvantage to rotating them (by purpose or by accident)? Just asking so I know whether I should mark them before I pull them.

Thanks as always!

Since they are all cells connected in series, I don't see any reason to move them around. It won't hurt anything either, if you do.
Just make sure to make a wiring diagram or take a pic of the wiring layout before you remove anything, so you get everything connected back properly! :)

Check them all and put the lowest battery where it will be easiest to remove should you have to replace it down the road.

Other than that I see no advantage to shuffling them or maintaining the current positions.

If you have your pack tapped for 12 volt accessories, this would be a good time to rotate those two out and put a different pair in. - RAY
